  • Walnut- Walnut is primarily sourced from mixed hardwood forests and farms in the midwestern states, particularly Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana, with trees also found from Texas to the eastern seaboard.

    Cherry- cherry is sourced from sustainably managed forests in the eastern part of the country, with the Appalachian region, particularly Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York, being key areas

    Maple- Maple is sourced from the northeastern and upper Midwest regions, including states like Michigan, Vermont, New York, and Wisconsin, as well as parts of Canada

    Purple Heart- Purpleheart lumber, a durable and vibrant hardwood, is sourced from Central and South America, primarily the Amazon Basin and surrounding regions, and is imported into the United States.

  • Each board is made by me in my shop, depending on demand and specifications a board can take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks

  • I offer engravements on all boards as well as juice grooves and handles on boards thicker than 1.5 inches

  • FACE GRAIN- Face grain offers visually striking features that show off the natural beauty and patterns in the wood, this is an affordable option as it take the least time to create, but can be tougher on knives and scar easier than the other options

    EDGE GRAIN- Edge grain boards are long lasting and easy on blades due to to more consistent grain direction, it is a good middle ground between style and durability

    END GRAIN- End grain Boards are durable, beautiful and easy on knives. they are the least prone to bacteria build up and have a self healing nature because of grain movement, but do take considerably more time and equipment
